You have to contact the insulin manufacturer and ask how to get a a diluent order form. When I called, they said the Dr has to call them for the form. My son’s Dr was able to use the old form below for reference, and order it. You cannot dilute long-acting insulin, only R or rapid-acting uses diluent. I’m not sure about the others, like intermediate acting.
